5 Reasons to book a pre-wedding shoot

When it comes to weddings, building up a relationship with my clients is the most crucial ingredient in the entire recipe. Here I’m going to give you the 5 reasons why I recommend booking a pre wedding/engagement shoot.

Rapport

As I mentioned above, building a relationship with my clients is key. There are very few people that are at home in front of the camera. A pre shoot is a great way for you, the client, to see how I work. It’s also a great way for me to be able to see what things make you click, make you laugh and ultimately feel relaxed. Everyone is different, for one it might be a very softly spoken approach, where as others will love to have a joke to loosen things up.

Getting to know you

Ok so I’m kind of cheating here as this is closely related to rapport but I wanted to set this out on it’s own. Being personable is something I pride myself on. I had a pre wedding shoot once and the couple said “it’s like going for a walk with your mate”, and that is how it should be. We should feel absolutely comfortable!

Time on your own

A wedding day, more often than not is very a full on, packed day with little spare time. A pre wedding shoot allows time with just us to walk around, find nice locations and take some amazing pictures of you, in love, stress free and no Aunts or Uncles trying to grab a quick shot!

Engagement

For some, the engagement can be quite a huge deal, why not document that. Some lovely photos of you both, the ring, enjoying each others company before you become a married couple.

Lastly, More Photos!

Let’s be honest, who doesn’t like more photos!? Photos that truly last a lifetime.

Summary

I think it’s safe to say, I believe in the pre wedding shoot! Getting to know each other, learning how I work, having a good time and getting some great photos at the end!
